Ruby Sunshine is looking for an energetic, hospitality-driven leader to join our management team as an Assistant General Manager / Kitchen Manager. This hybrid leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume breakfast, brunch, lunch environment and is passionate about both guest experience and kitchen operations.
Were searching for a motivated morning person who can lead people as confidently as they lead operations, who can support Heart of House and Front of House teams while helping create an exceptional dining experience for every guest, every time.
What Youll Do
- Serve as the primary leadership support in the absence of the General Manager
- Lead daily FOH and BOH operations in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
- Coach, develop, and motivate the restaurant Krewe
- Ensure exceptional food quality, hospitality, cleanliness, and operational standards
- Support staffing, training, scheduling, and team development initiatives
- Jump in where needed to support efficient operations and guest satisfaction
- Help drive restaurant performance through leadership, accountability, and execution
- Maintain a positive, energetic, and team-focused culture
What Were Looking For
- An energetic, can-do attitude with a passion for hospitality
- 23 years of restaurant management experience in a fast-paced, high-volume, full-service environment
- Strong kitchen leadership experience required
- Prior Heart of House and Front of House management experience required
- Minimum 12 years in a similar leadership role
- Clear communication skills both verbally and in writing
- Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire teams
- A solid leader who values and respects employees while earning their respect
- An upward career trajectory with increasing responsibility
- A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better!
