Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and cooking, following established recipes and safety guidelines to create tasty, appealing dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment, utensils, and work stations
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards
- Support meal assembly, plating, and serving processes to ensure timely delivery of quality meals
- Contribute to menu planning by providing feedback on dishes and assisting with ingredient management
- Participate in catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring presentation standards are met
- Follow all health department regulations and company policies related to food safety and hygiene
Qualifications
