Head Chef
The Head Chef will oversee The Rookery kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, ordering, inventory control, food cost targets and ensuring the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and quality. Responsibilities also include leading and mentoring the kitchen staff to create a positive work environment.
The Head Chef, will also execute private events in coordination with the Chef of The Aviary.
Qualifications
- Culinary expertise in preparation and execution of elevated pub style foods.
- Experience in kitchen management, including team leadership, scheduling, and staff training
- Proficiency in inventory management, supplier communication, and cost control
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively
- Private Event experience, both buffet and plated
Pay: $78,000.00 - $86,000.00 per year
