What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Provider position at The Rock Island County Children's Advocacy Center?
Join the Rock Island County Children’s Advocacy Center (RICCAC) and help support child victims of abuse and trauma.
Position Highlights:
-Provide evidence-based therapy to child victims and their families
-Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
-Maintain appropriate licensure or be actively pursuing licensure
-Complete client documentation and comply with HIPAA regulations
-Report any new abuse disclosures during sessions
-Create treatment plans and conduct evaluations
Requirements:
-Master’s degree in a mental health field
-Licensed or under licensed supervision
-Trained (or willing to be trained) in TF-CBT and trauma-informed care
-Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
-Bi-lingual a plus but not required
-Must pass background check
