Position Overview
We are seeking a Mental Health Counselor who is passionate about helping others improve their mental and emotional well-being. This position is ideal for a licensed or license-eligible clinician who is eager to broaden their experience in outpatient mental health counseling.

Core Duties and Responsibilities
The qualified applicant will have the opportunity to:
- Provide outpatient mental health counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, and families
- Provide therapeutic services to support the treatment and rehabilitation of individuals with substance abuse disorders through Drug Court program
- Conduct mental health assessments and contribute to treatment planning
- Participate in interdisciplinary consultation and team collaboration
- Develop areas of clinical interest and pursue specialized training
- Establish and maintain professional working relationships with community partners and area providers
- Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with mental health performance standards
Education Requirements & Preferred Experience
Required:
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
- Licensed or license-eligible and actively working toward licensure
Preferred:
- Experience in outpatient or community-based mental health settings
- Experience working with diverse populations across the lifespan
Desired Skills, Qualifications & Certifications
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of mental health performance standards
- Familiarity with evidence-based treatment models
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
Soft Skills:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Empathy, professionalism, and a client-centered approach
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- Commitment to ethical practice, accountability, and continuous professional growth
Licensure:
- Licensed or license-eligible (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
