Front Desk Receptionist
The Riverside Lodge at Chimney Rock is a small, local business in Chimney Rock, NC. We are looking for a friendly, outgoing and responsible Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival and departure from the property
- Answer incoming phone calls and take messages
- Schedule guest check-ins and check-outs using our app (The Riverside Lodge at Chimney Rock)
- Greet guests who have reserved the room or rooms that they have requested
- Check-in guests who have reserved the room using our app
- Provide information about the rooms and the property to guests who have reserved the room
- Greet guests who have made reservations on their phone or tablet. This includes entering information into our reservation system.
- Receive messages from management or housekeeping staff. Answer them, relay messages to the appropriate parties and follow up on requests or problems.
- Maintain cleanliness of reception area, hallways, elevator lobby areas, public areas and common areas. Cleaning as needed.
Qualifications:
- Customer service experience (1-2 years) is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate!
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude. Flexibility is a must!
