Position Summary: The Maintenance Engineer assists with the upkeep of all hotel fixtures, materials, and mechanical devices. They perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance as well as ad hoc repairs. Shifts are:
4 days 10-hour shifts, Day Time 7am-5pm or 5 days, 7am-3:30pm
CORE JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties: Room preventive maintenance, Painting, spackle, plumbing experience, guest room on call during shift, customer care, positive attitude. Help set up ceremonies sometimes, Kitchen repairs. Some electrical experience. Leaf blow sidewalk rotation. Keep tools neat and orderly.
Duty / Task
Comply with all laws, regulations, and building codes as they pertain to construction.
Comply with all company safety standards and procedures as they are described by the Safety and Compliance Manager.
Perform regular preventive maintenance as directed by the Chief Engineer.
Perform ad hoc repairs as directed by the Chief Engineer.
If maintenance or repairs are outside the Maintenance Engineer’s skill level, they are to work with the Chief Engineer as soon as possible without interfering with the guest experience.
Periodically check the hotel’s fixtures, materials, and mechanical devices to ensure working order and to address any issues that may be discovered.
Maintain all maintenance workshops and storage areas in a clean, tidy, and organized manner
Other duties as assigned.

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
