What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping Aide position at The River House at Odette's?
The Housekeeping Aide is in charge of prepping the rooms of the hotel for the housekeepers and assisting them in providing them items that the housekeepers need to perform their daily duties. They are also tasked with the upkeep of daily stayover and turndown service. They assist the Housekeeping Manager with keeping all housekeeping closets and storage areas clean, tidy, and organized. Due to the high-level of guest interaction there will be times when the housekeeper is expected to meet basic guests’ needs.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Comply with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to cleaning chemicals and materials.
· Daily cleaning of guest rooms in a timely fashion and according to company standards; check-outs, stay-overs, and turndown services.
· Maintaining all housekeeping closets and storage areas in a clean, tidy, and organized fashion.
· Handle all hotel property (furniture, linens, towels, cleaning supplies, etc.) with respect and in a manner that will maintain its integrity.
· Assist guests with basic requests.
· Other duties as assigned.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
