We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping & Fulfillment Associate to join our team and help manage the sorting, organization, packaging, and shipping of trading cards sold through live breaks and online orders.
Position Overview
The Shipping & Fulfillment Associate is responsible for accurately sorting and organizing trading cards following live breaks, matching cards to the correct customers and orders, and preparing shipments for safe and timely delivery.
This position requires a high level of attention to detail. Many orders contain collectible and potentially high-value cards, and accuracy in sorting, handling, and shipping is a top priority.
Responsibilities
- Sort trading cards from live breaks by team, player, customer, or order
- Accurately match cards and purchases to the correct customer
- Organize and process orders from live Whatnot breaks and online sales
- Verify orders for accuracy before packaging and shipment
- Properly handle, sleeve, top-load, and protect cards based on company shipping procedures
- Package trading cards securely to prevent damage during transit
- Print shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup
- Combine eligible customer orders and shipments when appropriate
- Maintain organized sorting, shipping, and card storage areas
- Track and identify potential order discrepancies before packages are shipped
- Assist with receiving, organizing, and maintaining shipping supplies
- Help maintain an efficient workflow during high-volume break and shipping periods
- Follow established procedures for handling higher-value or specialty cards
- Work closely with the live breaking and operations teams to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
- Assist with other trading card and fulfillment-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Comfortable performing repetitive, accuracy-focused tasks
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to follow processes and established procedures
- Basic computer and technology skills
- Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies before an order is shipped
- Strong sense of responsibility when handling customer purchases and valuable collectibles
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of sports cards, trading cards, or the collectibles industry
- Familiarity with Marvel, Pokemon, MLB, NFL, NBA, or other major sports teams and players, and other common trading cards
- Experience with Whatnot, live breaks, or online trading card sales
- Previous shipping, fulfillment, warehouse, or e-commerce experience
- Experience packaging and protecting collectible trading cards
Trading card knowledge is strongly preferred but may not be required for the right candidate who is organized, dependable, and willing to learn.
