Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and dependable Driver & Helper to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of delivery vehicles, including box trucks and personal vehicles, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Your proactive approach and excellent customer service skills will help us deliver a seamless experience for our clients. Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks and personal vehicles for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
• Load, unload, and secure cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment like pallet jacks.
• Assist with warehouse operations including manual handling, moving items, and organizing inventory to facilitate efficient deliveries.
• Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles while practicing safe lifting practices and heavy lifting techniques.
• Communicate effectively with customers during delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns professionally.
• Use mobile devices to navigate routes, update delivery statuses, and document completed tasks accurately.
• Follow all safety protocols related to weight handling in the workplace, manual transmission driving, and use of material handling equipment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or as a courier/delivery driver is highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or box truck operation is a plus.
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently.
• Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and adhering to DOT regulations.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely throughout the workday.
• Experience with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or material handling tools is advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on professionalism and reliability.
