Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, interacting with customers, and ensuring a clean and welcoming bar environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Operate the cash register accurately, handling cash transactions and processing payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar area, including equipment, glassware, and utensils.
- Upsell drinks and menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while serving drinks.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during busy periods.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
- Experience with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly atmosphere for guests.
- Knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and garnishing methods is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be at least 18 years of age as per legal requirements.
