Our client, a specialty construction contractor, is seeking a construction-savvy Accounts Receivable Accountant who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where accuracy matters. If you love organized numbers, clean billings, and working with a team that communicates, you’ll feel right at home.
🔧 What You’ll Do
- Run full-cycle AR for multiple projects/divisions
- Process high-volume billing with precision—AIA billing, progress billings, retention, and T&M
- Manage lien waivers, compliance docs, and project billing requirements
- Post payments, reconcile accounts, and keep AR aging clean
- Partner with PMs and Billing Coordinators to resolve issues quickly
- Stay on top of the AR inbox and customer updates
- Work in Sage 300 / Sage Paperless (nice-to-have)
💡 What You Bring
- Previous AR experience — construction industry strongly preferred
- Proven ability to stay accurate under high volume and tight deadlines
- Hands-on experience with AIA billing, retention, job costs, and project billing workflows
- Strong Excel Outlook skills
- Detail-driven, organized, and a clear, friendly communicator
