Service Manager - Boutique Hospitality & Dining

We're seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead Front-of-House operations at a Japanese-inspired, chef-driven fine dining restaurant known for elevated hospitality, seasonal cuisine, and an energetic izakaya-style dining experience. Inspired by Japanese home cooking and hospitality, the restaurant delivers refined yet approachable service in a high-volume setting.

This role is ideal for a hospitality leader with New York City fine dining experience who is passionate about developing teams, delivering memorable guest experiences, and maintaining the highest standards of service.

What You'll Do

• Lead daily Front-of-House operations and ensure flawless service execution.
• Coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing service team.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings, manage floor plans, and oversee reservations.
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences through proactive hospitality and table touches.
• Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and operational excellence.
• Collaborate closely with culinary and bar teams to ensure seamless service.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally while building lasting guest relationships.
• Drive staff training, accountability, and continuous development.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Service Manager, Floor Manager, Dining Room Manager, or similar leadership experience in New York City fine dining.
• Proven success leading service teams in chef-driven, upscale, or high-volume full-service restaurants.
• Strong knowledge of fine dining service standards, POS systems, and reservation platforms.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, communication, and guest relations skills.
• NYC Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain).
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
