We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead the daily operations of a successful upscale restaurant in Miami. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hospitality leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences, developing high-performing teams, and driving strong financial results.
The ideal candidate is an energetic leader with experience in high-volume, polished casual or upscale dining who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads by example.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations
- Lead, coach, and develop front and back-of-house management teams
- Deliver exceptional guest service and resolve guest concerns professionally
- Drive sales, profitability, and overall restaurant performance
- Manage labor, scheduling, and payroll to meet financial goals
- Monitor food, beverage, and labor costs
- Ensure consistent execution of service and brand standards
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain top talent
- Maintain health, safety, sanitation, and licensing compliance
- Build a positive, accountable, and team-oriented culture
- Analyze financial reports and develop action plans to improve performance
- Partner with ownership and senior leadership to achieve business objectives
Qualifications
- 3 years of General Manager experience in an upscale or polished casual restaurant
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Experience managing high-volume restaurant operations
- Solid understanding of P&L management, labor, food cost, and inventory controls
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proven ability to build guest loyalty and deliver outstanding hospitality
- Experience with restaurant management systems and Microsoft Office
- Stable work history with a track record of operational success
