General Manager - Fast-Casual Café Operations

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a high-volume, fast-casual breakfast and lunch concept specializing in fresh, made-to-order bagels, sandwiches, coffee, and grab-and-go offerings.

As General Manager, you will oversee all aspects of daily restaurant operations, including team leadership, staffing, guest satisfaction, financial performance, and operational excellence. You'll build a strong culture of accountability while developing future leaders and maintaining consistent execution in a lean, high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all daily restaurant operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Build leadership pipelines through mentoring and succession planning.
• Manage scheduling, labor, food cost, inventory, and profitability.
• Oversee restaurant P&L and key performance metrics.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and operational standards.
• Drive sales growth while improving efficiency and productivity.
• Foster a positive, energetic, and accountable team culture.
• Support new restaurant openings and complete required out-of-state training if needed.

Qualifications

Required

• 3 years of General Manager experience in high-volume fast-casual, QSR, bakery-café, coffee, breakfast, or daytime restaurant concepts.
• Proven leadership in fast-paced, lean-staffed operations.
• Strong experience with P&L management, labor, food cost, inventory, and scheduling.
• Demonstrated success developing teams and future leaders.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and coaching skills.
• Willingness to travel for training before opening.

Preferred

Experience with brands similar to breakfast cafés, coffee shops, bakery cafés, sandwich concepts, fast-casual restaurants, or high-volume daytime operations.
