Assistant Restaurant Manager - QSR Operations

We are seeking a high-energy, hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead a busy QSR restaurant in Roslindale, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Shift Lead, Assistant Manager, or AGM who is ready to take the next step in their restaurant leadership career.

The restaurant is experiencing sales growth and needs a strong leader who can stabilize shifts, develop employees, strengthen accountability, and build a reliable leadership bench. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, comfortable giving direction, and able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth shift execution
• Direct and motivate team members during high-volume periods
• Coach, develop, and hold employees accountable for performance
• Support and develop Shift Leaders to build a strong management bench
• Maintain high standards for guest service, food quality, cleanliness, and safety
• Handle cash management and daily operational responsibilities
• Assist with employee scheduling and staffing needs
• Support light inventory management and ordering
• Proactively identify operational issues and make effective decisions
• Address employee and guest concerns professionally and promptly
• Maintain strong communication between shifts and management
• Provide a strong leadership presence during evenings and weekends

Ideal Candidate

• Previous Assistant Manager, AGM, Shift Manager, or Shift Lead experience required
• QSR or high-volume restaurant experience strongly preferred
• High-energy, hands-on leader who can multitask effectively
• Strong communication and team-management skills
• Comfortable giving clear direction and holding employees accountable
• Proactive decision-maker who takes ownership of the operation
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Comfortable addressing performance issues directly when necessary
• Strong focus on employee development and team building
• Open availability for nights and weekends
• Comfortable working approximately 45–50 hours per week
• Available to work flexible shifts between 10:30 AM–1:00 AM, 7 days a week
