Sr. Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of HVAC systems across various property types. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality and climate control, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients. Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems using schematics and technical manuals and following industry best practices.
• Perform routine maintenance checks including air balance, refrigerant charge, and component functionality to ensure peak performance and energy efficiency.
• Read and interpret schematics, and HVAC design documents to accurately execute system installations or repairs.
• Accurately diagnose HVAC issues and provide cost-effective solutions; perform equipment repair or replacement as needed.
• Maintain detailed service records and complete all required paperwork for each job, including shift reports, invoices, time records, and inventory logs, to document repairs and installations for compliance and quality assurance purposes.
• Respond promptly to field service requests involving appliance repair, property maintenance, or emergency system failures, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers, addressing questions or concerns related to repairs and installations and ensuring a positive experience from start to completion.
• Work closely with supply chain to ensure timely arrival of parts and equipment.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC systems installation and repair.
• Solid understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical knowledge essential for troubleshooting complex systems.
• Experience with refrigeration systems.
• Ability to confidently operate specialized maintenance tools, including ohmmeters, welding equipment, and related instruments.
• Familiarity with boiler operation is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude combined with property maintenance skills to handle diverse tasks efficiently.
• Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, address inquiries and concerns, and maintain a positive and solutions-oriented demeanor in all interactions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
