Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to help them find the right products based on their needs and preferences
- Educate customers about different cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories through engaging product demos and detailed explanations
- Operate POS systems efficiently to process retail sales transactions, handle cash register operations, and manage cash drawer handling with accuracy
- Conduct upselling techniques to promote featured products and accessories, enhancing sales opportunities while respecting customer choices
- Ensure compliance with all local regulations regarding cannabis sales, age verification, and responsible serving practices
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail sales environments is highly desirable; familiarity with POS systems is essential. Dutchie preferably.
- Supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities within the team
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are an advantage for serving diverse clientele
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to handle inquiries professionally
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for retail math calculations and cash handling procedures
- Experience with product demos, upselling techniques, and merchandising strategies to enhance customer engagement
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge related to cannabis or similar retail sectors preferred but not required
- Demonstrated responsibility in stock management, cashiering, and retail sales transactions
Pay Rate:
- Starting at $15 an hour PLUS TIPS!
