Looking for an entry-level position at a great company? Look no further! We're hiring a new Environmental Services Aide at our skilled nursing & therapy facility.
The Environmental Services Aide combines housekeeping and laundry responsibilities to ensure resident rooms, common areas, linens, and personal clothing are consistently cared for according to company standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, attentive to detail, and committed to creating a welcoming space where our residents feel at home.
Schedule
Saturday - Sunday 7AM - 7PM
Monday - Tuesday 8AM - 4PM
Job Duties
- Wash, dry, fold, and deliver linens and residents’ personal clothing.
- Return clean clothing to the correct resident’s room and dresser/closet.
- Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas.
- Maintaining the exterior of the property’s appearance.
- Keep the laundry room and equipment clean and organized.
- Disinfect surfaces and follow infection control guidelines.
- Safely use and store cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Properly handle soiled or contaminated linens.
Experience & Requirements
Training is provided! Prior experience in housekeeping & laundry services is a plus.
- Knowledge of laundry processes, including proper washing and disinfecting techniques.
- Understanding of infection control practices and safe handling of contaminated items.
- Familiarity with cleaning tools, equipment, and cleaning agents.
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.
