Seasonal position available from May - November with possibility to extend. Full time or part time possible. Both AM and PM shifts available. Must be legally able to work in New York and the United States. Must speak English.
Job Description:
Serves as guest liaison for all services to our guests. Responsible in part for the experience of guests while on property. Facilitate check in and check out, answer phones and emails, ensures that the resort runs smoothly and that any guest complaints or requests are handled or escalated in a timely and appropriate manner. Handles a wide range of administrative and hospitality related tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Personally greet guests and clients of the Inn. Check in and check out guests in a fashion representative of the hotel quality. Make frequent contact with guests while on property and field guest inquiries.
Coordinate detailed email and phone correspondence with guests, assisting with booking
process and planning of amenities leading up to arrival.
Must be familiar with the hotel room products, property specifics, and intricacies of the business.
Assist with office and administrative duties like organization, reporting, projects, asset creation, social media, and more.
Act as a concierge, recommending activities, restaurants, points of interest in the area.
Record payment and handle billing in a responsible, safe, and secure way.
Receive deliveries, interact with vendors, greet visitors to the property.
Represent the standards of five-star service and luxury hospitality.
Must be eligible to work in the United States. Must be able to stand for long durations of time. Must be able to bend and pick up objects up to 50 pounds.
