Spa Front Desk Receptionist

The Salt Spa at the Reeds at Shelter Haven is seeking qualified and motivated candidates with experience for the position of Spa Receptionist. Our Team is dedicated to exceeding service standards and providing services of the highest caliber. Candidates should be able to work/collaborate and communicate effectively with guests and associates at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet guests warmly, ensuring that they feel comfortable and happy on their visit
• Assisting the spa staff in providing a unique and outstanding spa experience for our members and guests
• Become proficient in Book for Time software system
• Ensure the overall smooth daily operation, scheduling all spa related appointments, checking guests in and out, process payments and assisting in all retail sales
• Being the primary source of information regarding what goods and services are available at the Spa and all procedures to ensure guest comfort (i.e. treatments, equipment and products)
• Understand all Salon and Spa services, treatments and be able to explain each in a clear precise manner.
• Keep guests updated on currently available promotions and discounts in services offered in the Spa
• Assist in developing promotional events, which focus on increasing the guests of the spa
• Ensure guests do not leave the spa with a negative feeling by finding out from them how they were treated while at the spa. Resolve any issues before the client leaves. This will ensure a repeat visit from such client. In order to protect the integrity of the spa, the receptionist is to ensure that guests are treated equally by ensuring that they are attended to on a first come, first serve basis

Pay: $18.00 per hour
