Donation Attendant and Processor

Job Overview
The Donation Attendant plays a vital role in supporting our mission by managing the donation process at our facility. This position involves interacting with donors, organizing donations, and ensuring that all items are processed efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and a passion for community service.

Duties

• Greet donors warmly and assist them with the donation process.
• Sort, organize, and maintain donated items to ensure they are ready for distribution or sale.
• Conduct inventory control to track incoming donations and manage stock levels effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the donation area and warehouse.
• Operate cash registers as needed during donation events or sales.
• Assist in heavy lifting of large donations or boxes as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations within the donation center.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with handling donations.
• Familiarity with inventory control processes is a plus.
• Multilingual abilities are highly valued to assist diverse donor populations.
• Experience in warehouse settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are essential.

We can train the right person. Must be available 10-5 Monday through Saturday although Mondays and Saturdays are the shift this will include for sure at this time.
