Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide prompt, friendly service to enhance their dining experience
• Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency
• Operate POS systems such as toast POS and Micros POS for order taking, payments, and cashiering duties
• Upsell menu items to increase sales and promote special offers effectively
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling zones in compliance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food prep, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff during busy hours to ensure smooth operations
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change and totals

Experience

• Previous experience in food preparation or food service environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with quick service or fast food restaurant operations is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and POS transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Experience working in a café or retail store environment is advantageous
• Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service
