What are the responsibilities and job description for the Supply Specialist position at The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia?
- Verifies and inspects incoming supplies for discrepancies and visible damage.
- Restocks shelves rotates stock and stores supplies in the correct location.
- Oversees and assures that requested stock and non-stock deliveries are taken to the correct locations in a timely manner.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: May require a valid Virginia Driver's License.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling and driving. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100lbs. May be exposed to fumes, cold, outdoor climate and heat.
