About The Role
The Watch Technician’s key areas of responsibility include the authentication, diagnostics, and repair of quartz. This position will authenticate and service watches within our e-commerce centers and communication across multiple internal teams to execute a seamless consignor experience and a frictionless production pipeline.

The Watch Technician’s key areas of responsibility include the authentication, diagnostics, and repair of quartz. This position will authenticate and service watches within our e-commerce centers and communication across multiple internal teams to execute a seamless consignor experience and a frictionless production pipeline.
What You Get To Do Everyday
- Identify all quartz watches (watch brand, watch model, movement brand, movement model)
- Open and close all types of watch cases without damaging them
- Diagnose quartz movement issues
- Change batteries and gaskets
- Replace coils/circuits in quartz movements
- Replace complete quartz movements
- Calibrate chronograph and other complication indicators to original factory settings in quartz watches
- Perform pressure test on all watch types
- Perform timing measurements on all watch types
- Demagnetize all watch types
- Authenticate quartz watches across all brands
- Clean external components of all non-leather-strap watches (case, crystal, bracelet) using appropriate method, including ultrasonic solution/machine and steamer
- Perform any additional daily tasks as directed by supervisor
Minimum Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience servicing quartz timepieces
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Perfect vision (natural or corrected)
- Ability to execute on communication systems
- Adept at working with, and open to learning new technology solutions to increase productivity and efficiency
- Polished in verbal and written communication
- Ability to handle multiple complex, time sensitive situations
- Understanding of daily quotas, deadlines
- Ability to work within specific process constraints
- Brand certification from major watch brand
- Disassembling and overhauling mechanical/automatic movements
- Polishing cases and bracelets
