Head of Construction Boston, MA Posted: 06/16/2026 Industry: High Priority Job Number: 3618340 Pay Rate: 160000/year - 180000/year Job Description Superintendent A privately held real estate investment and development firm with a portfolio of retail and mixed-use properties is seeking a Superintendent. This role will oversee active renovation and adaptive reuse projects across the Northeast. This is a highly field-oriented position serving as the owner's representative, responsible for construction execution, quality control, contractor management, budget oversight, and project delivery. Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day construction execution across multiple active projects. Serve as primary owner-side contact for general contractors. Conduct frequent site inspections to ensure quality, workmanship, and adherence to plans. Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project budgets. Manage schedules, punch lists, project closeout, and warranty items. Maintain rigorous standards for historic preservation, adaptive reuse, and high-end finishes. Qualifications: Active Massachusetts Professional Engineer (P.E.) license Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Prior field experience as a Field Engineer and/or Superintendent with a reputable GC. Experience with historic, landmarked, or adaptive reuse projects. Strong knowledge of structural systems, building envelope, MEP systems, and luxury finishes. Massachusetts CSL (or ability to obtain).

Salary : $160,000 - $180,000
