Head of Construction
A privately held real estate investment and development firm with a portfolio of retail and mixed-use properties is seeking a Head of Construction. This role will oversee active renovation and adaptive reuse projects across the Northeast. This is a highly field-oriented position serving as the owner's representative, responsible for construction execution, quality control, contractor management, budget oversight, and project delivery.
Responsibilities
- :Lead day-to-day construction execution across multiple active projects
- .Serve as primary owner-side contact for general contractors
- .Conduct frequent site inspections to ensure quality, workmanship, and adherence to plans
- .Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, pay applications, and project budgets
- .Manage schedules, punch lists, project closeout, and warranty items
- .Maintain rigorous standards for historic preservation, adaptive reuse, and high-end finishes

Qualification
- s:Active Massachusetts Professional Engineer (P.E.) licen
- seBachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineerin
- g.Prior field experience as a Field Engineer and/or Superintendent with a reputable G
- C.Experience with historic, landmarked, or adaptive reuse project
- s.Strong knowledge of structural systems, building envelope, MEP systems, and luxury finishe
- s.Massachusetts CSL (or ability to obtain
