The Quechee Club is seeking a professional and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our Health Club team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional, therapeutic bodywork treatments to members and guests, creating a relaxing and rejuvenating experience that reflects The Quechee Club’s standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional massage and body treatments tailored to each client’s individual needs and physical condition.
• Maintain expert knowledge of massage modalities, products, and wellness services offered by the Health Club.
• Conduct thorough consultations to determine appropriate massage techniques and treatment plans.
• Ensure a clean, well-organized, and serene treatment environment.
• Uphold all privacy, confidentiality, and professional draping standards.
• Accurately document client treatments, preferences, and product usage.
• Support Health Club operations, including scheduling, guest greetings, and maintaining a professional front-of-house presence.
• Promote wellness programs, services, and retail products to enhance the member experience.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education to stay current with industry best practices.
• Prepare and reset treatment rooms before and after each session to ensure cleanliness and readiness.

Qualifications

• Board Certified with the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) (required).
• 2–3 years of experience as a Massage Therapist (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and a variety of massage techniques (e.g., Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, Hot Stone).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understanding of facility policies and a commitment to maintaining high service standards.
• Genuine belief in and commitment to the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.

Physical Requirements

• Physically demanding role; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Requires balancing, stooping, reaching, standing, walking, lifting, grasping, talking, and hearing.
• Visual acuity needed for close work (within arm’s reach).
• Work occurs both indoors and outdoors, in varying environmental conditions.

Schedule & Compensation

This is a part-time, non-exempt position with a flexible work schedule. Availability for days, evenings, and weekends is required. Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes an hourly rate and commission. Commission is 40% for each completed session.
