What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at The QTI Group?
The QTI Group has partnered with a Madison-based healthcare technology organization to hire their next Controller. This part-time role will average 20 hours per week and will oversee all financial-related activities including general accounting, financial reporting and analysis, revenue calculation and forecasting. This is a hybrid, part-time opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Management of accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking and financial reporting activities in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare financial and cash projections and breakeven analysis as required for CEO, Board of Directors and investors
- Serve as point person with external vendors that provide HR/Payroll, 401k and tax accounting services
- Coordinate with the Registered Agent to ensure compliance in multiple operating states
- Prepare necessary year-end financial and performance reports required for investors
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. CPA and or Master's degree preferred.
- 7 years of financial experience, prior experience in the healthcare field preferred
- Demonstrated experience in preparing and presenting financial results and audits
- Knowledge of financial regulations including GAAP and healthcare-related laws
