Duties
- Deliver engaging classroom instruction on skincare techniques, facial treatments, makeup application, and aesthetic procedures such as dermabrasion and laser treatments
- Develop and implement detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and industry best practices
- Supervise students during practical sessions including facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, hair styling, hair coloring, hair extensions, threading, and nail care
- Mentor students on professional development, industry standards, and career pathways within cosmetology and esthetics
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of progress
- Ensure compliance with all licensing requirements and safety protocols related to esthetic treatments and classroom operations
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques like trigger point therapy or deep tissue massage, and technological advancements in aesthetic treatments
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Licensed Esthetician with experience in skincare and aesthetic treatments
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry across multiple disciplines including massage therapy, hair styling, nail care, and body waxing
- Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners effectively through classroom experience or similar educational roles
- Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to esthetics and cosmetology procedures
- Excellent student supervision skills with a passion for mentoring aspiring professionals
- Familiarity with lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and motivate students to achieve their full potential
