Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons on cosmetology topics such as hair coloring, hair extensions, eyelash extensions, facial treatments, body waxing, and makeup application.
• Supervise and mentor students during practical sessions to ensure safety, technique accuracy, and professional standards.
• Develop detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum requirements and industry best practices.
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their performance and progress to foster continuous improvement.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that promotes learning and professionalism.
• Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and technological advancements in aesthetic treatments like dermabrasion, laser therapy, and trigger point therapy.
• Support student success through personalized mentoring and guidance on career pathways in the beauty industry.

Requirements

• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in skincare, massage therapy (including deep tissue massage), hair styling, barbering, and esthetic treatments.
• Demonstrated classroom or training experience with adult learners or students in a vocational setting.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to cosmetology practices and aesthetic procedures.
• Skilled in various cosmetology techniques such as nail care, facial treatments, body waxing, hair threading, and makeup application.
• Ability to develop engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles while maintaining clear instructional objectives.
• Excellent communication skills with a passion for mentoring students and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Certification or licensure in cosmetology or related fields as required by local regulations; additional certifications in laser treatments or advanced esthetic procedures are a plus.
• Enthusiasm for staying updated on industry innovations like hair coloring techniques, eyelash extension methods, dermabrasion procedures, and other aesthetic treatments.
