Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in general dentistry, with experience in pediatric dentistry and oral surgery being highly desirable. As a Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting assessments, and performing various dental procedures. You will work closely with our dental team to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience for our patients.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Perform a variety of dental procedures including general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery
- Execute dental extractions and root canal therapy with precision
- Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed to maintain a safe environment
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment options and oral health education
- Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to provide optimal patient care
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry
- Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy, and aseptic techniques
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, along with familiarity with pediatric patient care practices
- Ability to perform medical imaging as required for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care
