Job Summary:
The Work Release Facility Monitor plays a crucial role in supporting the success of each resident, handling day-to-day operations at the Work Training Release facility, and actively participating in activities that foster a safe and secure environment, aligned with the goals and mission of PHA.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Teamwork & Collaboration: Promote and model teamwork with residents, staff, and the community.
- Resident Support: Monitor daily activities, oversee visitations, and manage medications.
- Safety & Compliance: Conduct safety checks, drug and alcohol testing, contraband confiscation, and prepare reports as necessary.
- Resident Guidance: Assess and respond to resident behaviors and concerns, and contribute to program plans.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure security, cleanliness, sanitation, and compliance with health/hygiene requirements.
- Training & Development: Attend required training and assist in preparations for inspections and audits.
- Additional Duties: Assist with meals, provide transportation, and perform other tasks as required by management.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be 21 or older with a valid Driver's License and Food Handlers Card.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs, wear safety equipment, and meet physical demands of the role.
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Basic computer knowledge.
- Desired Experience: 1 to 3 years in criminal justice, social work, customer service, or security.
