Production & Shipping Associate

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Production & Shipping Associate to join our manufacturing team. This position plays a key role in production operations by operating digital inkjet and rewind equipment, assisting with shipping, receiving, deliveries, and supporting warehouse and inventory functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is based in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility and offers long-term growth opportunities for the right individual. Starting pay ranges from $18-$23 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor digital inkjet printing equipment to ensure production quality and efficiency.
• Configure and operate rewind machines to meet production specifications and quality standards.
• Perform quality inspections of finished products to verify accuracy and adherence to specifications.
• Package and prepare finished goods for shipment.
• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and inventory.
• Pick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on schedule.
• Serve as a backup delivery driver as needed.
• Load and unload materials using a forklift.
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
• Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvement.
• Apply 6S methodology to maintain a clean, organized, safe, and productive work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of recent, relevant work experience.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, printing, warehousing, shipping, or receiving is preferred.
• Strong communication, time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Basic math skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division are required.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English, with the ability to draft simple correspondence and communicate information clearly.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with a positive and professional attitude.
• Reliable and accountable, with a strong attendance record.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand and walk for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
• Capable of lifting and carrying up to 35 pounds, with occasional lifting of heavier materials.
• Ability to perform physical movements such as bending, stooping, and reaching while remaining active throughout the workday.
