Shipping and Receiving Associate – 1st Shift
Paragon Services, Inc. is an aircraft finishing company. As a worker in the shipping and receiving area, you are expected to be responsible for handling all incoming and outgoing products. This position ensures that parts and products are received, inspected, stored, documented, and shipped accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Unload incoming shipments safely.
- Inspect deliveries for damage, accuracy, and proper documentation.
- Verify items against purchase orders.
- Move parts to appropriate storage areas.
- Pack and prepare customer orders.
- Verify orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Securely package parts to prevent damage in transit.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow company safety guidelines and use equipment properly.
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, carts).
- Support other warehouse tasks as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Ability to lift and move aluminum parts of different dimensions and different weights, with reasonable accommodation.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Available to work 1st Shift MON - FRI, 6:00am - 2:30pm.
- Available to work overtime when required.
Work Environment
- Warehouse setting with frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting aluminum parts of different dimensions.
- May involve operating forklifts or other equipment.
- Must be willing to work in and handle exposure to weather conditions.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
