We are currently hiring for a direct support professional to help support our residents in their daily lives. This position will provide support to our residents based on their individual goals, while making sure their physical, mental, and social needs are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform required checks on all residents
- Assist resident with activities of daily living
- Provide transportation to and from appointments
- Assist with meal times and snack times
- Performing housekeeping tasks as assigned
- Conduct visual rounds and medication dispersal
- Proper filing of paperwork
- Assist with activities as needed
TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Must have a desire to work with persons with disabilities
- Valid driver license with good driving record
