Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including coffee drinks, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options using established recipes and techniques
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient transaction processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the barista station, dining area, or service counters in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks to support kitchen staff when needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and maximize sales opportunities
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for transactions
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista, Server, Bartender or in food service is preferred; experience with coffee preparation is highly valued
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales calculations, and retail math tasks
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment confidently
- Must be 21/yo or older
