We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher with a strong background in early childhood education.
The ideal candidate will have classroom experience with infants through school-age children and a passion for creating a positive, structured, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications
3 years of experience working in childcare or early childhood education
Experience working with infants, toddlers, preschool, and/or school-age
childrenStrong communication skills, including the ability to update parents on daily activities, progress, and concerns
Ability to plan lessons, organize the classroom, and implement age-appropriate activities
Dependable, professional, and committed to maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere
Ability to work collaboratively with the owner, director, and other staff members
Job Responsibilities
Teach and supervise children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
Change diapers and assist with potty training as needed.
Follow the daily classroom schedule consistentlyCreate and manage lesson plans that support learning and promote strong teacher–child interactions
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroomPositively interact with parents, providing daily updates and communication about their child.
Communicate professionally with the owner, director, andfellow teacherss.
Demonstrate excellent attendance—arriving on time, prepared, and avoiding last-minute call-offs except in emergencies
Lead your classroom independently and use teaching methods that work best for you and the children
