What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Teacher/Floater position at Kids University?
A minimum of 20 hours will be scheduled weekly.
Requirements:
- Background Check
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, and reach
- Must have good balance and be able to maneuver around obstacles such as children, furniture, and toys
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to easily go from standing to sitting and sitting to standing
- Must be patient, playful, kind, and have the energy to keep up with busy infant through 12 year old children
- Available to work Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm
Duties:
- Provide a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment
- Follow provided daily schedule
- Follow lesson plan to teach, engage, and entertain children with activities, lessons, and crafts
- Serve breakfast, lunch, and or snacks at scheduled times
- Perform light cleaning duties such as after meal times and at the end of the day
- Change diapers, pull-ups and/or soiled clothing. Assist with potty training
