What You’ll Do
- Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating during daily kitchen operations and events
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen areas and follow all safety and sanitation standards
- Learn and apply proper use and care of kitchen tools, utensils, and equipment
- Support inventory organization, ingredient rotation, and supply tracking
- Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to ensure quality and presentation excellence
- Participate in rotations across kitchen functions to gain broad exposure to culinary
- operations
- Uphold The Potter’s House standards of professionalism, hospitality, and confidentiality
What You’ll Bring
- Must possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must provide two (2) non-family recommendation letters (teacher, pastor, or supervisor)
- Interest in culinary arts, food service, or hospitality
- Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to cleanliness, safety, and detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Additional Details
- Duration: 12 weeks, up to 20 hours per week
- Schedule: Flexible within standard business hours; occasional evening or weekend event support may be required
