The Portland Regency Hotel & Spa is looking for a Full-Time Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor (dual role) to join our team! We are a beautiful Historic Hotel of America located in the heart of Portland's Old Port District.
Hours vary weekly; Shifts are 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, 11am-7pm or 11pm-7am.

Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor (Dual Role)

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented hospitality professional to serve in a dual Front Desk Agent and Night Auditor role. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys guest interaction, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
What You’ll Do
Guest Services & Front Desk Operations
Provide exceptional service by welcoming guests, answering questions, and handling requests professionally and efficiently.
Check guests in and out, issue room keys, manage reservations, and assist with information about hotel services, amenities, and the city.
Respond to guest concerns with professionalism, creative problem-solving, and sound judgment.
Answer and direct incoming calls, enter wake-up/coffee call requests, and monitor shared inbox inquiries.
Maintain accurate cash handling procedures, balance a cash drawer, and correctly close out folios.
Support the Front Office team by assisting with training new staff, stocking supplies, and keeping the workspace clean and organized.
Night Audit Responsibilities
Reconcile daily receipts for all hotel outlets, including restaurants, Lounge, Spa, Banquets, and Front Desk.
Balance and batch credit cards, compile daily revenue reports, and distribute audit summaries to management.
Maintain audit packs and ensure all accounting documentation is organized and complete.
Run required night audit and departmental reports.
Assist with overnight guest needs, safety concerns, and security, including working collaboratively with Night Security.
Maintain cleanliness in the lobby and back-office areas throughout the night and ensure equipment is properly shut down.
