About the role:
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, board-certified or board-eligible General Orthopedic Surgeon (or Sports Medicine–focused subspecialist) to join our high-demand orthopedic team. This role includes both surgical and non-surgical management of musculoskeletal conditions in a highly active population. With access to digital imaging, MRI, in-house PT, and a affiliated ASCs, you’ll manage conditions ranging from fractures and joint disease to athletic injuries. A predictable weekday schedule, no ER call, and strong internal referrals make this a rare opportunity to thrive professionally while enjoying Portland’s outdoor lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage surgical and non-surgical orthopedic conditions in a high-volume, MSK focused population
- Perform outpatient orthopedic procedures in affiliated ASCs and collaborate closely with in-house PT and imaging
- Lead and innovate in evidence-based MSK care, sports medicine, and injury prevention initiatives
- Utilize EPIC/MyChart EHR to optimize care coordination, documentation, and pre/post-op workflows
- Serve as a referral anchor for PCPs managing joint pain, fractures, and athletic injuries
- Productivity expectations align with MGMA medians
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification or eligibility in relevant specialty
- Unrestricted Oregon medical license (or ability to obtain)

- Competitive base salary $875,000
- $100,000 sign-on bonus, paid in four installments over the first year ($25,000 each)
- Two-year guaranteed base salary
