We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is critical in ensuring timely billing, collections, and accurate financial reporting across our hospitality operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts receivable process for multiple hospitality locations, including invoicing, posting payments, and reconciling accounts.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts, including direct communication with clients and event partners.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer payments, deposits, and adjustments.
- Work closely with the operations and events teams to coordinate billing for group events, catering, and venue rentals.
- Prepare and maintain detailed AR reports, including weekly and monthly reconciliations for management review.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring AR accounts are accurate and complete.
- Collaborate with external vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
- Maintain organized records of all AR transactions and documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in AR workflows.
Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in hospitality, retail, or service industries.
- Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes, invoicing, and collections.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Margin Edge; experience with POS or hospitality management software is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential financial information.
