Operations Manager for Eco Friendly Waterscapes
The Pond Digger is one of the most recognized water feature construction companies in the country. We design and build high-end koi ponds, waterfalls, lakes, and aquatic ecosystems.
Our projects combine landscape construction, plumbing (PVC irrigation), rock placement, excavation, and ecosystem design-no cookie-cutter work. Every project is unique.
We are a family-run company with a strong team culture, and we are looking for an experienced Operations Manager / Superintendent to lead our construction operations and keep our crews set up for success.
Pay & Opportunity
- $23–$30 per hour (based on experience)

Position Overview
- Oversee daily construction operations across multiple projects
- Coordinate crews, materials, schedules, and timelines
- Ensure jobs are fully prepared before crews arrive
- Keep projects running efficiently, on time, and on budget
- Maintain strong communication between field crews and office team
- Identify issues early and prevent delays
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate crew scheduling and job timelines
- Ensure materials and equipment are ready prior to job start
- Track job progress and adjust schedules as needed
- Review pull sheets and materials for accuracy
- Communicate with crew leaders and ensure accountability
- Monitor job completion timelines and crew productivity
- Organize job folders and documentation with office staff
- Maintain workflow between retail, warehouse, and construction teams
- Identify problems before they impact production
- Support leadership in improving systems and efficiency
Schedule
- Full-time position
- Schedule aligns with field crews (early start times)
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in construction, landscape construction, or similar field
- Experience managing crews or supervising job sites
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Ability to read job scopes and coordinate materials
- Strong communication skills with crews, office staff, and leadership
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Valid driver's license
