POS and AV Tech

POSITION SUMMARY:

Managing and maintaining our organization's technology, from hardware and software to networks, ensuring security, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting audio and visual equipment and providing user support.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Manages network connectivity

·         Configure routers/firewalls

·         Protect data, manage threats, conduct risk assessments

·         Set up new equipment, install software, deploy new technologies

·         Participate in meetings to advise on technical requirements

·         Collaborating to determine AV needs before an event and run equipment during events

·         Transporting, setting up and connecting & testing audio visual equipment

·         Cleaning, repairing and maintaining all equipment

·         Creating records: inventory, maintenance and other key details related to equipment

·         Deploying new POS systems

·         Maintaining and programing POS system

·         Provide training and assistance to staff

·         Resolving issues with transactions, software errors, or hardware failures on-site or remotely

PREFERRED SKILLS:

·         Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills

·         Knowledge of specific hardware, software, operating systems, and networking protocols

·         Technical proficiency with AV hardware and software

·         Excellent communication and teamwork

·         Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments

A minimum of one year experience in a fast-paced environment. Able to work mornings, nights, and weekends. Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to stand in one place for hours at a time. Ability to retain information quickly. Able to read and understand recipes. A valid California Health Card or Sani Serve certification. Good working relationship with peers and management.
