Logistics & Supply Chain Specialist – Relocation to Bermuda

This role requires the successful candidate to relocate to Bermuda; relocation costs will be covered by the client.

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing logistics provider based in Bermuda.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to relocate and take on a broad, hands-on role focused on Ocean & Air freight, as well as international and domestic relocations.

You will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of inbound shipments, outbound exports, and relocations - ensuring cargo moves efficiently from origin to final delivery in line with Bermuda Customs and international shipping regulations.

Working closely with global agents, carriers, and internal teams, you’ll oversee documentation, manage shipment milestones, resolve issues, and deliver a high-quality customer experience throughout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate end-to-end Ocean & Air shipments (import and export)
• Manage international and domestic relocations, including complex shipments
• Prepare and review customs and shipping documentation (B/L, AWB, etc.)
• Liaise with overseas agents, carriers, brokers, and transport providers
• Monitor shipments, manage delays, and resolve operational issues
• Handle cargo claims, marine insurance, and damage resolution
• Support cost control, supplier invoice validation, and billing accuracy
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• Degree in Logistics / Supply Chain Management / related discipline (required)
• 3–5 years’ experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics
• Strong working knowledge of Ocean & Air freight operations
• Experience with relocations and export documentation (preferred)
• Familiar with Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, and customs processes
• Dangerous Goods certification, PIPA awareness, and customs vetting (required)
