Position Summary
Our growing practice is seeking a dedicated Clinical Team Member to support our breast surgery program. This role combines hands-on clinical support with specialized breast care coordination, including high-risk patient management and in-office procedures. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical experience, a patient-centered mindset, and familiarity with breast imaging and surgical workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily clinical operations within the breast surgery and high-risk breast care program
- Maintain professional and compassionate interactions with all patients and team members
- Prepare clinic rooms and ensure readiness for patient care, including stocking supplies and maintaining cleanliness
- Conduct patient intake, including medical history, medications, allergies, and vital signs
- Room patients, assist providers during visits, and document accurately in the EMR
- Review patient schedules in advance and gather necessary diagnostic results (pathology, radiology, external records)
- Assist with in-office procedures (IOPs), including preparing instruments, supporting the provider, and handling specimens
- Provide hands-on patient care such as dressing changes, suture/drain removal, and wound care per provider direction
- Support perioperative workflows, including retrieving clearances, labs, and pre-admission testing (PATs)
- Assist in coordinating care for high-risk breast patients, including education, navigation, and follow-up
- Review and interpret imaging reports with working knowledge of BI-RADS terminology
- Maintain inventory, monitor expirations, and order supplies as needed
- Answer patient calls and support ongoing communication across the care team
Qualifications
- Clinical experience in breast health, surgical oncology, or a related specialty preferred
- Working knowledge of BI-RADS classifications and breast imaging pathways
- Experience supporting in-office procedures and direct patient care
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to patient-centered care

Compensation & Benefits:
· Pay Range: $32-$38 an hour
the starting rate within this range for this role varies depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
