We are seeking an Medical Coder to join our team! This role involves coding surgical slips, operative reports, office visits, and facility claims, as well as working closely with surgeons and billing staff to ensure accurate and timely claim submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Code surgical procedures, office visits, and in-office procedures using CPT & ICD-10
• Review operative reports and assign accurate billing codes
• Handle institutional billing for surgeries (TCOPS)
• Work with TriZetto for claim submission and denials
• Communicate with surgeons for documentation clarification

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Coder (CPC, CCS, or equivalent)
• 2 years of surgical coding experience preferred
• Familiar with NexTech, Encoder Pro, and TriZetto

Compensation & Benefits:

• · Pay Range: $26-$29 an hour
