Technology Lead- Ecommerce (SAP Commerce, Backend Development)


What you bring: Extensive large-scale eCommerce experience and great communication skills. Strong Ecommerce platform experience, ideally with SAP Commerce Cloud. Strong backend development and integration experience. 


This is a Full-Time, Permanent, 100% remote position in EST time zone.  

Salary: $170K to $190K (15% bonus potential based on performance)
Hours: 8 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Location: 100% remote

• Lead agile delivery of ecommerce platforms and core services
• Design and build backend services, APIs, and enterprise integrations
• Own integrations across SAP, Salesforce, Okta, and marketing systems
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and performance
• Collaborate with Experience Engineering and DevOps teams
• Monitor system performance and drive continuous improvement
• Apply AI-assisted development practices to enhance productivity
• Build and lead a focused, high-performing engineering team

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 5 years in technical leadership roles
• Strong backend development, API design, and integration experience
• Experience with large-scale B2B/B2C ecommerce platforms (search, catalog, cart, checkout)
• Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Preferred) or Shopify Plus, Magento, CommerceTools
• Experience integrating Salesforce, SAP, identity, and marketing systems
• Experience incorporating AI (ChatGPT/Codex) into SDLC
• Strong knowledge of system design, scalability, and Agile practices

• Headless CMS and composable architecture experience
• Event driven architecture or middleware experience
• Cloud experience (AWS or similar)
• SAP BTP experience
