Senior GIS Analyst

Location: Lansing, MI


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of a statewide leak survey framework (boundaries, scheduling, frequencies)
  • Perform advanced GIS analysis, segmentation, and data modeling
  • Clean, standardize, and restructure gas distribution asset data
  • Translate regulatory and business requirements into GIS solutions
  • Support compliance, audit readiness, and regulatory reporting (MPSC, PHMSA)
  • Identify data gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Compliance, and Operations teams


Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Strong experience with ESRI ArcGIS and advanced GIS concepts
  • Experience with utility or gas distribution systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

  • Degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with Survey123, SAP, or Work Management Systems
  • Background in regulatory compliance or integrity programs
  • Advanced Excel/data analysis skills

Salary : $30 - $35
