What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scale House Attendant position at The Planet Group?
Duration: 6 Months
Facility Admin/Scale House Attendant
Using time management, organization skills and paying attention to detail.
Checking Gateway Schedule every morning – report number of incoming trucks to PM.
Checkmark incoming loads received – make notes as needed in Gateway.
Receiving Incoming Trucks – Scale Ticket – QA/QC manifests – Process SO’s in NetSuite.
Track all incoming/processed loads on the “MPF Processing Log” spreadsheet.
File hard copies in Customer files accordingly.
File digital copies in Sharepoint “Billing” folder by Year/Month.
Make BOL’s for outgoing boxes.
Track box tonnage “EFW Log Tracking” spreadsheet daily.
Date – Box – Tons – Time - Driver
File hard copies in file daily.
Track Scheduling “Tulsa MPF Spreadsheet” – Data from Gateway Schedule
Operations and Transportation Loads
Day – Schedule Time – Customer – WP# - SO# – Carrier
Also Tracked on white board. (Including loads that need to be tested.)
Track “Yard Sheet”
Track ILM trailers in/out.
Keep track of office supplies – Relay information when low.
Report copier count monthly.
Sending paperwork to customers as requested.
Reporting KPI numbers every week.
Reporting daily tonnage via text message to PM daily if available, if not the next morning.
Report weekly load counts received/outbound
Scanning in monthly driver fuel receipts.
General Plant Requirements
1. All contractors must receive site safety orientation training before commencing work
2. Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time
3. Must be able to occasionally lift items over 35 lbs
Salary : $18 - $20
